MALL INFORMATION
INFORMATION DESK
Our Information Desk is located near the Queen Street entrance and is open during normal mall trading hours. Our friendly team can provide you with a wide range of helpful information about the Mall. We offer services including gift voucher sales, free gift wrapping, access to wheelchairs and strollers, and ticket sales for community events.
Other services include binding, scanning, photocopying and printing documents.

PARKING
Richmond Mall has over 700 free customer carparks. The time limit on the mall and Upper Queen Street parks has been temporarily reduced from three-hours to two-hours while the Richmond Mall Reimagined Stage 2 construction project progresses. This change is necessary while Stage 2 construction is underway, as some parking areas are unavailable. The two-hour limit helps ensure fair access for all customers during this period, which should be for a few months. We understand some visits—such as hearing or eye tests—can take longer. If customers need extra time they can email their appointment confirmation or receipt to info@richmondmall.co.nz, and we will arrange to void any parking ticket.
There are still 13 disabled parks available near entrances, but some spaces have had to be temporarily relocated. At the completion of Stage 2, this will increase to over 16 disabled parks, positioned near new entries for easy access. This total does not include additional disabled parks near Kmart/The Warehouse carpark which are also open to customers shopping in the Richmond Mall and Upper Queen shops.
Parking Breach Notice
The carpark is monitored to ensure there is always parking available for customers at Richmond Mall. The Parking Enforcement Services ensure customers are not denied a parking space by people using it for other purposes. For this reason, during the current construction project there is a time limit of 2 hours free parking. Please note, car parks are for the use of Richmond Mall customers only, so please don’t be offended if you are asked to verify that you have been shopping at the Mall.
RICHMOND MALL GIFT CARDS
Richmond Mall Gift Cards are available to purchase from the Information Desk near the Queen Street entrance. The gift cards can be redeemed at any of the 70+ stores in the mall. You can choose an amount between $20 and $1000 to load onto each card.
Richmond Mall gift cards are very popular gifts for birthdays, Christmas and other celebrations. They are also great as a thank you gift, prizes for sports teams and as gratefully received donations to charitable organisations.
FREE GIFT WRAPPING SERVICE
To make your shopping experience more convenient we offer free gift wrapping for gifts purchased at Richmond Mall. So, if you're running short of time to wrap a present make sure you see the friendly team at the Information Desk near the Queen Street entrance.
PARENTS’ ROOM
The Richmond Mall Parents’ Room is a family-friendly space designed as a convenient spot for parents with young children. It is located down the corridor near APT Collections.
The room is equipped with private and comfortable feeding areas, baby change tables, microwave, toddlers fenced off play area, TV - Disney Channel, toddler toilets and drinking water.
We work hard to ensure the parents room is kept clean and tidy for our customers with young ones. Thank you to our dedicated cleaning team for the great job they do in making this happen.
MOBILITY SERVICES
Wheelchairs and strollers are available at the Richmond Mall Information Desk near the Queen Street entrance.
TOILETS
There are two bathroom facilities in the mall; one near APT Collections, which includes the Parent's Room, and the other Acquisitions.
